Well as promised, I was up at 5.0am on Saturday, and rigging up at Minster at 5.45am! Sailed from 6-10ish in marginal winds - top end of a force three I reckon, but still managed to get planing from time to time. I am getting my light wind waterstarts nailed too and really enjoyed myself out there. At low tide the water was stupidly low as it was a spring - cut my feet to ribbons on the mussel beds and other crap that was under the water. Still, well worth the trip - I'd have been gutted if another weekend had passed by without a sail. By the time I was leaving, the UKWA guys were swinging in to action - they were going to be on very big kit I reckon by the time they came to race... wish I could have hung around a little longer to watch. It was cool seeing so many windsurfers rigging up and with all the flags out and music pumping out of vans there was a real buzz...
